Introduction

At Petrichor Foods EU, we supply high-quality Refined, Bleached, Deodorized, and Winterized (RBDW) Sunflower Oil, produced from premium sunflower seeds under strict food safety and quality standards. The oil is clear, light, and neutral in taste, making it ideal for culinary, industrial, and retail applications.

Production and Quality

Our sunflower oil is refined to remove impurities, ensuring a neutral flavor, extended shelf life, and consistent clarity.
It fully complies with the Turkish Food Codex on Edible Oils, and contains no GMO ingredients.
The product undergoes advanced AOCS-certified testing for acidity, peroxide, and moisture limits to guarantee purity.

Cultivation

An apricot tree typically requires 4–5 years after planting before yielding its first crop. Early harvests may produce about 20 kg per tree, but with maturity, this can rise to 200 kg per tree.

Many sweet apricot varieties are developed through grafting onto plum rootstocks, which improves both fruit sweetness and yield. Producing 1 kilogram of dried apricots requires approximately 3.5 to 4.5 kilograms of fresh fruit.

Apricot trees bloom in April and May, a particularly sensitive time, as late frosts can damage blossoms and severely reduce yields.
